CHALLENGES

1.                   GSDO still needs to get long-term funders to support its strategic plans to fulfill its long-term planned activities and programs. With members small contribution GSDO has tried to reach-out to its target groups, through basic literacy class. Ironically, the GSDO membership contribution is not sufficient to continue the education classes and hygiene campaigning and also GSDO instrument and staff students and sports of children.  There is urgent need to strengthen its fund raising program both locally and internationally to sustainable manage its planned activities/programs.

Inadequate funding has hampered its development plan (having a sustainable). There is need to strengthen and diversify the funding to pay staff to facilitate the planned activities with motivated staff. This in the past has hampered the implementation of planned activities as many look for better opportunities elsewhere in the such as transportation to support  NGO sector.
